Make a Beyond the Bus Stop Life List

Life is busy. Are you tired of putting everyone else first and feeling invisible? Are you ready to be seen again?

Taking time for YOU when you have a family, a job, and a home seems like a selfish act. Yet, one key to being a better parent is becoming a better individual. A more rested, relaxed, and empowered mother will be better able to stay calm when the kids need us the most.

Give yourself a half hour to write down 25 goals. Turn off your filter and let the pen write. When you’re done, look at the list. Did you uncover any long-concealed aspirations? Any surprises? What did you want to be when you were young? Add your ambitions to the list. What can you do now to bring those dreams back to life?

Here are some ideas to help you create your list:

  • Stay in touch with friends
  • Start a book club
  • Run a marathon
